Château des Bachelards

Château des Bachelards is well-known in organic and biodynamic circles in Fleurie, Moulin-à-Vent and Saint-Amour as their wines have been certified organic since 2007, and biodynamic since 2015. The property spans 12 hectares, with seven hectares situated in Fleurie in an unique holding around the château, along with additional parcels in Moulin-à-Vent and Saint-Amour. Clos des Bachelards, enclosed by walls built by the monks, is considered the estate’s crown jewel due to its exceptional terroir. Low-intervention cellar work and sustainable viticulture are the watchwords of the estate, and they champion Gamay.
