Tenuta Impostino

Italy

The name Tenuta l’Impostino pays homage to history and memories

Tenuta l’Impostino, a renowned winery located in Italy, is nestled in the heart of “il bel paese,” known worldwide for its style, elegance, and fashion. Situated on a natural amphitheater with a south-west exposition, the estate covers 52 hectares, including vineyards on gentle slopes, a captivating forest of holm and cork oaks, and olive trees. The winery, a modern structure spanning 2,000 square meters, embraces the vineyards with its distinctive outstretched wings design. Adjacent to it are two converted old farmhouses, providing accommodations for guests and wine enthusiasts.

The name Tenuta l’Impostino pays homage to history and memories, represented by the “Corona Muraria” emblem derived from our town, Civitella Paganico, a fortified village. The favorable climate of the region, particularly for the Sangiovese grape, cultivates the most representative grape variety of Tuscany. Montecucco wines, known since the Middle Ages, epitomize the excellence and longevity attributed to Sangiovese. Today, the region’s economic and industrial growth has unlocked the true potential of these wines, once reserved for a select few experts.
