Viña Caeira: Honoring Tradition and Terroir in Rías Baixas
Viña Caeira was born from the earth, mixing tradition and history in Salvaterra de Miño on soils of gravel and quartz pebbles. This is a perfect match for the Albariño grape, and thus enchanted by Galicia and its outstanding wines, Carlos Moro created Viña Caeira in the Rías Baixas DO. The Condado do Tea sub-region is further inland, warmer, and drier than Salnes or O Rosal, producing richer and broader wines. The winery is surrounded by just over 2ha of Albariño and there are hundreds of granite trellises that the vines wrap around as they grow and seek the sun.
