A Century in the Making: Vinícola Morales and the New Face of Toledo Wine

A modern winery with more than a century of history, it all started in 1918 when Vinícola Morales was created in Manzaneque, Toledo. Until the late 20th century, the production of the winery was almost exclusively for local consumption. Carlos Galdón, the new owner, has instigated a radical transformation, incorporating many of the innovations that have been introduced in the wine world in the last 30 years. The challenge that was set was to make the highest quality wines of Spain in Toledo. These are richly fruited wines, with carefully selected oak barrels for the ageing process.

Chardonnay F.B. IGP Tierra de Castilla - 2022

This rich, full-bodied, oaked Chardonnay features toasted oak notes of vanilla and caramel, buttery and with a creamy texture, alongside flavours of golden apple, yellow plum, pineapple, peach, and nectarine, and it pairs well with fish, seafood, pâtés, rice, white meats, and all kinds of cheeses.

Petit NOC Tempranillo IGP Tierra de Castilla - 2021

This unoaked Tempranillo offers intense, ripe aromas of strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries, with hints of spices, delivering a fresh fruity, silky, and persistent profile, it pairs wonderfully with cold cuts and pasta, rice, all kinds of meats, and soft cheeses.

Coupage IGP Tierra de Castilla -2017

The Coupage estate blend offers intense fruit with smoky and spicy aromas, as well as a structured and meaty palate with notes of maturity such as leather and dried red and black berries, and pairs wonderfully with all types of meats, pasta, rice, and stews.

NOC Tinto IGP Tierra de Castilla - 2019

This oaked Tempranillo offers ripe red fruit with spicy and smoky notes, being rich, full-bodied, and with a long finish, it pairs wonderfully with red meat, game, stews, sausages, and cured cheeses.

Leyenda de NOC IGP Tierra de Castilla (Limited) - 2018

Bodegas NOC’s top wine features concentrated dark fruit with smoky and spicy aromas, a structured, full-bodied palate, incredible length, and rich barrel aging notes of smoke, clove, and spicy oak, making it a perfect match for meats and stews.
